All lights are marked with the amount of watt they consume. Add up the total wattage of the lights and compare it to the capacity of the transformer. The total must not exceed the power (wattage) of the transformer. The amount of lamps that can be connected therefore depend on how many watt each lamp consumes.

To maximize the transformer life expectancy, it is recommended to leave at least 15% unused capacity in your transformer.
